This Customer Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) discloses how Electric Mobility Services Limited (“we” or “us”) collects, stores and handles the Personal Data (as defined below) collected online, including from our members and visitors to our website and users of our internet- and smartphone-based applications, and collected offline, including by telephone or in-person, through mailings, or otherwise. Please read the following Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we use the Personal Data we may collect from you. By providing your Personal Data to us, you are consenting to this Privacy Policy and the collection, use, access, transfer, storage and processing of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, do not use any of our services or give us any of your information. This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our General Conditions of Carriage. Please read them carefully as well.

Certain Personal Data are required for specific services and if you fail to supply such Personal Data as requested, we may be unable to deliver you the services.

In using our services we will also collect geographic information related to you. This information will be tracked via GPS. Geographic information is critical in order to arrange a pick-up, but may be used for other purposes as well. We may collect Online Information using a variety of methods, including, but not limited to, “cookies”.

  • verifying and screening credit or other payment cards,

  • statistical and marketing analysis,

  • operating our Miles Reward Program,

  • systems testing, maintenance and development,

  • IT training,

  • customer relations,

  • helping us to deal with you more efficiently or to improve our services in the future,

  • direct marketing, promotional and customer service purposes,

  • market research (provided that you shall have the right to opt out by notice to us), and

  • disclosure to a third party as may be required by law or regulation, or pursuant to the order or direction from any court, authority or governmental body of any jurisdiction.

 

4. How to Access, Correct and Control Your Personal Data

You are responsible for maintaining accurate Personal Data with us. If your Personal Data changes, you may amend or correct your Personal Data held by us. If you no longer desire to use our services, you may request that we delete your Personal Data. We undertake in good faith to affect any changes to, including the deletion of, any Personal Data as soon as is reasonably practicable. However, we will retain any Personal Data and information about your usage of our services after your membership is terminated as is necessary to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, as well as in order, in our discretion, to facilitate our ability to resolve disputes, conclude any activities related to termination of an account (such as addressing chargebacks from your credit card companies), investigate or prevent fraud and other inappropriate activity, to enforce our agreements, and for other business purposes. At some future time, we will make your Personal Data anonymous and aggregate it so that it may be used solely for analytic purposes.

 

If you wish to obtain a copy of any of your Personal Data, or if you believe that the Personal Data held by us was used beyond the scope of the purpose of use disclosed above or was acquired by fraudulent or unlawful means or provided to a third party without your prior consent, please write to us. We may charge a reasonable fee for the processing of any data access request.

Disabling / Enabling Cookies.

All third parties will be obligated not to disclose your Personal Data.

This Privacy Policy is written in the English language and may be translated into other languages. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and the translated version of this notice, the English version shall prevail.
